Here is a little information about Mango the Sun Conure.

Mango was purchased from a local large chain pet store. She was there
for months and no one purchased her. For a few months she had a cage
mate that was a Hahns Mini Macaw but he sold and she was there
alone. My husband always went in to see her and talk to her and he
has always wanted a Sun conure so Mango was a gift for my husband for
his birthday, but she was also rescued from loneliness. I think the
reason she was never purchased until me was she has some weird
feathers that curl on her head that to me makes her special I can
always tell her from another Sun Conure. She is very spoiled by my
husband as soon as she hears his voice when he gets home from work
she goes nuts screaming and flapping until he goes and picks her up.
